Re: Hillary vs. Bill (O'Reilly)

Apparently it is true. Hillary Clinton will be on "The O'Reilly Factor" tonight. It should be interesting. He's been wanting this one for years. It should be interesting.

Obama shocked!

I think many of us can agree that the Reverend Wright's comments and views are "Outrageous" and Appalling". Now Barack Obama it seems has come to a similar conclusion yesterday. It's as if he suddenly became aware of his outrageous antics and conspiracy theories. The guy is a loon. Anyway Barack's response reminded me of this scene from "Casablanca".

Bush on the Economy

Of course one side blames the other on the economy in politics but he does bring up a couple of things that perplex me. Why the opposition to exploring more resources in ANWR(Alaska National Wildlife Refuge) and opposition to expanding refining capacity? The last new refinery(in the US) was built over 20 years ago I believe. Shouldn't we expand our capacity. It seems as if an oil drill worker on a platform in the Gulf of Mexico gets a cold or stubs his toe the price of gas goes up a nickel.Granted it may not make a huge difference in overall price but at least we'd be doing something.

Here are some interesting links I found:

I guess you'd have to decide for yourself.

Hillary vs. Bill

Bill O'Reilly that is. Not Hillary's husband though that might be interesting in itself. A developing story on Drudge Report has Hillary appearing on the O'Reilly Factor on Wednesday. Has hell frozen over? Must be an attempt to top Obama's appearance on the Fox network recently. It should be interesting. This a big coup for Bill as I know he's tried to get her on the show for years.

Bruins game 6

In case you missed it last night here are some of the highlights. I'm still in awe of this game. Simply one of the best I ever seen. Phil Kessel's first goal is one of the prettiest I've ever seen.

Canadiens vs. Bruins

I'm simply awestruck by this years Boston Bruins team. In recent years I've felt they've lacked the grit and most of all heart. Almost the forgotten team in the Boston area due to the success of the Patriots, Red Sox and more recently the remarkable turnaround of the Celtics. Even the other day NESN(New England Sports Network) who broadcast Bruins and Red Sox game preempted a game five of the Bruins vs. Canadiens for an early season clash of the Red Sox and Yankees(meaningless at this point in the season) which caused a minor backlash. Talk about no respect. I remember the Bruins moving the game time around early in October for the Red Sox. What gives?

Well I'd have to admit having seen one of the best playoff games I've seen in awhile I've found a new respect for this team. They show a tenacity and spirit I haven't seen from this team since the early nineties. Aside from the first game of the series (a 4-1 loss) they have played Montreal toe-to-toe in each game. I have to admit myself I and given them little chance to win no more than a game. They have now forced a game seven against the heavily favored and talented Canadiens. They just don't give up! In recent years I've seen this team fold at the least amount of adversity. Now anything seems possible. Just perhaps some of the winning spirit that has caught on around town has caught on. I certainly hope so. Even if they don't prevail on Monday(blasphemy!) I think this team and franchise has reached a turning point and will be a force to be reckoned with in the future.

Go Bruins!!
