Nice to see the Bruins back in action this week. I just finished watching the Bruins verse Minnesota Wild. Unfortunately it ended with a loss 4-3. They did have a late comeback bid but they fell short. Just thought I'd I'd give some quick observations:
- I thought the idea was Savard feeding Ryder the puck instead of the other way around. I'm not complaining though.
- Before those people start on Manny Fernandez please remember Tim Thomas also gave up four goals against Colorado.
- Minnesota was giving up rebounds all night but fortunately for them no Bruins in sight of them. Need some presence in front of the opposing net.
- Speaking of which what's with two four goals against nights? What happened to defense?
- Nice to see Kessel off to a good start.
